About Us

A Kenyan seed house built for the continent.

Best Seeds and Horticulturals Africa Ltd is an agri-inputs and knowledge company headquartered in Nairobi. We source, pack and advise on climate-smart seed for vegetables, African leafy greens, cereals and livestock forages, then wrap that supply with agronomy, investor-ready proposals and WASH / program management training. Our promise is simple: honest varieties, transparent USD pricing, and service that respects every farmer — woman, man, youth, elder, and every community from Kajiado to Lamu, Kampala to Accra.

Field training with farmers on a working landscape
Holistic agriculture: seed, forage, livestock and people on the same landscape — Kenya and across Africa.

Certified quality

Lots aligned to KEPHIS and ISTA practice. Germination, purity and variety integrity documented for trade across COMESA and ECOWAS corridors.

Climate-smart portfolio

Drought-tolerant maize, pearl millet forages, indigenous greens and hybrid vegetables selected for ASAL, highland and coastal systems.

Knowledge as a product

We do not only sell packs. We write farm plans, investor proposals and two-week intensive courses that convert seed into enterprise.

Our Vision

An Africa where every hectare starts with honest seed.

We envision food systems in which smallholders and commercial estates alike access high-integrity genetics, fair prices and inclusive extension — so households eat better, livestock stay productive through dry seasons, and rural youth see agriculture as a dignified business.

Mission

Put premium seed and practical skill in African hands.

To multiply climate-resilient seed, train farmers and program teams, and design bankable agribusiness proposals that raise yields, nutrition and incomes from the farm gate to regional markets — without leaving women, youth or persons with disabilities behind.

Holistic agriculture

From seed pack to feedlot.

We sell genetics that close the loop: vegetables and indigenous greens for nutrition markets, cereals for food security, and Nutrifeed, Sugargraze and Rhodes pastures that fill troughs. Training on the Kajiado–Kimana farms walks cohorts through crop, hay and livestock in one week.
